This is our History

1. In May 2009

   Boka Garment Accessories Co., Ltd.

   

   Three young people who had graduated from university for four years got together when the trend of international trade swept through China. Among them, one was a business English graduate, one was a sales director of some company, and the other had been doing agency sourcing business for a client. Their common idea led them to quickly form a small company since they all wanted to start their own business. With the supply advantage of Yiwu local small commodity market, they gathered in an office of less than 100 square feet and officially started the business of garment accessories trading and exporting by relying on the very old global resource platform. That was our predecessor - Boka Garment Accessories Co., Ltd.

2. In December 2017

   A gold medal supplier

   

   We have experienced many, many twists and turns in this whole 8 years of the story. But people never thought of giving up. We have been adhering to the concept of service first and quality guarantee, and gradually become a gold medal supplier in the apparel accessories industry. Our one-stop supply strategy for many brands around the world to provide a comprehensive procurement, design, customization, quality control, shipping, after-sales service, and many large brands have a long-term stable cooperation, such as DISNEY, HELLOKITTY, FOREVER21, GUESS, DICKIES, etc. And our company has set up an office in Guangzhou, and the number of our team has reached 20.

3. In December 2019

   The factory expands

   

   From one production line with less than 10 workers at the beginning to renting an entire factory, our factory has been expanding in size. Our company covers an area of 6,500 square feet, with 8 production lines and a total of 480 employees, including 10 R&D staff. Our equipment includes 50 sets of seamless knitting machines, 600 sets of sewing equipment, and a full set of testing equipment. Our product range covers sports bras, thermal underwear, yoga wear, sports jackets, etc. This allows us to produce nearly 10 million pieces per year and have over 6 million pieces in stock in reserve for small orders. We are proud to be partners with LULULEMON, GYMSHARK, FILA.

4. Beginning of 2020

   Covid-19

   

   A global catastrophe struck and Covid-19 gradually spread around the world. We chose to cooperate with the national policy and let all workers and employees work from home. We were out of business for almost 3 months and many of our customers' orders began to be cancelled in droves, which resulted in large quantities of fabric ordered having to be stored in warehouses. The ensuing increase in the price of raw materials, the cost of workers, and the rise in logistics costs made it difficult for the factory to move forward. Our traditional way is more inclined to rely on old customers, foreign exhibitions cannot be carried out, so we were once trapped without enough orders to support the factory's production. And we started thinking about a new way out as e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Shopify have risen.

5. In March 2020

   BOKAMODA is born

   

   We were lucky to rely on our past foundation to avoid the crisis of bankruptcy. We saw that many people like us had fallen into difficulties during the epidemic, many factories or companies closed down and many people lost their jobs. At the same time we saw a big change in people's lifestyles, as many people started to realize the importance of health. So we formed a separate department to develop our own brand, registered our trademarks BOKAMODA and YOGADEPT in China and the USA, and launched our online store. In the process of exploring branding we found many people like us, and we made a decision: to give the strongest support to those who need it with good price, lowest order quantity, quickest customization cycle and continuous updates of popular styles.
